So it seems your Nana and my mother both had the same method..a fry pan into which is ladled the batter thinly and then at the speed of light swooshed around the ‘small frying pan’ and once set it is then smacked onto a dish towel that is, of course, clean. When she would make them we would have towels everywhere so that she could make as many and then fold them ….THE SAME WAY
